Thank you Chris and Randy for last nights webcast. You really gave our OCQE group a chance to be heard and we appreciate the shot in the arm you gave us! We are really happy that you are planning to be at our Public Forum April 10th to broadcast and be part of the process.Our mayor Teunis Westbroek and Council have been supportive of this issue and are striking a task force to investigate for themselves. The acting mayor in Parksville, Chris Burger, has expressed his support too. Unfortunately both mayors and councils will be in Saanich that weekend for a municipality convention.

I just watched the programs you recorded last week and especially liked "The Near Shore". I'm also better informed now about the issues concerning the Bay Street intersection with Hwy 19 and its relationship to Family Place. I appreciate the information you provide and like the 'news magazine' format.

It was wonderful how Gary from Raines Broadcasting captured the process of the kelp planting day on Gabriola. The video included many comments by volunteers, an introduction to the purpose of the project and possible causes for the disappearance of the kelp beds.
